It is a true winter pleasure to wedel, carve or board on the ski-runs of
the Hörnerdörfer!
With the Hörnerschneespaß-Ticket (Hörner snow-fun ticket), you can go skiing
on all five areas and thus enjoy pure diversion. The skiing-areas offer you snow guaranteed – most
modern artificial snowing devices and the daily preparation of ski-runs provide for excellent piste
and snow quality. Also the winter scenery is fascinating – the Allgäu and Lechtal Alps offer a
unique Alpine panorama.
Every village has one or several training or local lifts where you are
introduced to the arts of skiing, carving or boarding by our ski-schools. Of course, also your
children are best cared for. The family skiing areas offer the possibility to experience the white
powder on ski with much fun – even to the youngest ones (from 3 to 4 years on). Well-equipped
hiring stations have everything the heart desires in our skiing areas.
Naturally, also a
stop-off after skiing is on the agenda of our mountain huts. In all skiing areas, you are served a
multitude of specialities, from delicate snacks to warming “Jagatee”. And above all in spring – due
to the longer hours of sunshine – deckchairs and sun terraces invite to getting a summit suntan or
refilling energy.
Snow-shoe hiking tours
You want to enjoy the silence, relax and be active at the same
time?
If yes, a snow-shoe hiking tour “in the shoes of the Eskimos” is certainly the right thing
for you.
Large parts of the Hörner mountain region are only to be reached on touring ski or
snow-shoes in winter. You can dive into this untouched winter wonderland with one of our four
snow-shoe experts.
Get an explanation as to the origin of avalanches and what Alpine agriculture
has to do with it. Enjoy the truly unique mountain panorama or just try to count the summits once.
After the descent from the Hörner, the cosy part of the tour begins – a stop-off.
Fun
sports
The holiday region Oberallgäu is a vast and attractive playground for guests who want
to push aside daily routine by “risk and fun” and thus experience some holidays filled with fun and
calculated adventures.
Of course, you can also experience the whole range of popular winter fun
sports with us. Be it ice-climbing, paragliding, skibob or canyoning – there is next to nothing you
cannot find here. Naturally, all is even more fun in groups – experience a trapper day with
huskies, go on an igloo night expedition or a team rally.
It is no problem to get one of the
many trendy fun sports devices here: 7 days a week, the hiring out facilities of the Hörnerdörfer
are open for you in the winter season. Just hire out carving ski, snowblade, skibob or “Big Foot”
right on the spot – and on request, the likeable ski instructor is at your disposal as well!
